American Idol

So it seems that there is a controversy brewing on American Idol.  Now keep in mind that a controversy on a stupid television show is not really a controversy at all.

For me, a controversy doesn't exist unless it matters to someone, and if this stupid talent show matters to anyone they need to immediately jump off a building!!!!

There is nothing worse than American Idol and I don't watch it because I already now that the Fat Guy called Ruben wins it.  But, in fairness to the idiots who watch this crap, the "controversy" revolves around some hot chick named Joanna Pacitti.

Now, if you are triple loser you may have already heard of this chickie because she was an almost child star, and an almost pop star.  

You can find out about all that crap in a very well written  Y Music article by Lyndsey Parker.  It seems people are really pissed off that this Joanna Pacitti person had already gotten a shot at fame and blew it so now doesn't deserve another shot.

Well here's my take on this nonsense.

If you take a look at the people who twirl around and sing on this dumb show, most of them really suck. For those with some talent who win this thing, most go on to suck in public and lose their little record deals.  For the few who suck the least an actually go on to have careers, well, they pretty much suck too.  

These few, like Kelly Clarkson and that Clay Aiken chick, more or less just fit the outfit the record companies stuff them into and could be replaced by anyone who can sing into a computer.

So who really cares if this almost pop star, turned has been, gets another shot at becoming a has been?

If you watch her video you should notice that it's no better or worse than any other tune in her sing songy genera. Hell, Britney Spears even covered  her song Out from Under and we all whisper about how badly Britney sings.

So screw you whoever you are that's dumb enough to care!
