 Jermaine Jackson's global tribute to his late brother Michael has been scrapped for the second time. Organisers at World Awards Media, led by the King of Pop's older brother, cancelled a Vienna, Austria concert in September (09) after struggling to secure stars to perform at the event. The show was rescheduled for London next summer (10).
The latter concert appeared to be in trouble after an executive decision to dissolve the company behind the project was made last month (Nov09). Martin Schneider, liquidator for the organisers, said: "The company cannot sign any new contracts and will certainly not plan any new events." Now Jermaine Jackson has declined to forge ahead with the show, which was to initially feature Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown and veteran singer Natalie Cole.
