Michael Jackson's former dermatologist has filed a bizarre claim in a bid to retrieve a jacket he once loaned to the King of Pop. Dr. Arnold Klein claims the Thriller hitmaker borrowed a green Gianfranco Ferre jacket, worth $10,000, in the months before his death last summer (25Jun09).
Now Klein is appealing to the administrators of Jackson's estate to get the item back, reports TMZ.com. Klein's claim states, "The jacket has not been returned prior to death and has not been returned after death (although demand has been made)." The skin doctor filed another claim against the King of Pop's estate in October (09), alleging he was owed more than $48,000 for the 150 procedures he performed on Jackson in the three months leading up to his death. The growing list of creditors seeking cash from the Jackson estate now exceeds $22 million. They include legal challenges from Jackson's former accountant Diane Williams, his spiritual adviser Reverend June Juliet Gatlin and the pop superstar's one-time manager and adviser Dr. Tohme Tohme.
