Rockers Weezer have entered into a bizarre new deal to produce their own blanket brand.

The band's new 'Wuggie' - a blanket with sleeves - will be available in stores later this year (09).

The Beverly Hills hitmakers have teamed up with the creators of the popular Snuggie quilt for the project.

Frontman Rivers Cuomo says, "It'll say Weezer on it. The people at Snuggie are doing it with us and promoting it with us. It’s a totally legit Snuggie."

Weezer Should Come up with the Snuggie for two

I thought it was great when weezer spoofed the snuggie, but if they only waited a little longer, they would have had a better snuggie to make fun of. There is now way they could have resisted the two person snuggie. I guess if the company was in on the Wuggie, then they might not have even invented the couple snuggie yet but a wuggie for two would have been cool.
